Growth/Discipleship
A
grace-filled church patiently assists its members in improving their
Christian walk through a spiritual process that develops
confidence in Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture. We realize the Bible is not a set of rules, but a set of
principles, which when applied to real life situations and struggles
will give practical answers. God
will guide our families to a greater Peace and Joy as we grow in Him.
How
Do We Implement It?
Sunday
morning Bible classes (101, 201, 301, 401 levels)
Mid-week
Life /Circle Groups, specialty groups (Teen group, praise team, etc.)
Bible Hour
for Children under 8 years old, Junior High classes on Sunday morning
Mentoring
classes and one-on-one encouragement and refining
Looking
To the Future
We envision an active
Bible study program, which is primarily
carried out in small group Bible studies.
These will generate real questions and a deeper understanding of
biblical principle and practical answers.
We envision a Sunday morning new Christians class which helps
students understand the Bible and our purpose and vision for the Spokane
area. As we grow, we will
provide classes to help Christians learn and apply Gods teaching to
our lives.
What
Do We Believe?
Grace
is
the beginning point of what we believe. There is
only one God, the one who created the world and all that is in it
(Genesis 1:1-25), then, as a crowning touch, created humankind in His
own image (Gen 1:26). From
the beginning, God sought to have a genuine relationship with us. At first, God reached out to humankind through the Hebrew race
(Gen. 12:2 & 3). He did
this in order to reach out and bless all people, but Jews tended to look
down on other races and keep their God to themselves. So, because God loved the world, He sent Jesus to draw all people
to Him.
